Community Event
Join your friends and neighbors on June 30th, from 5-8pm, for the first community event hosted by Brighton and Alturas. There will be food trucks, popsicles, and more… Come mingle and have a great time!
4th of July
We wish everyone a safe and fun 4th of July. Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. We also ask that neighbors be courteous to each other and surrounding pets who may not enjoy the holiday as much. If you choose to use legal fireworks, here are some great tips from the National Safety Council.
Pet Etiquette
Please remember that household pets should not be allowed to roam free to other yards. Please leash your pets when not on your own property. This is meant for cats and dogs alike. Not all your neighbors have the same affections for your furry friends as you do, or may have allergies. Please respect their property and space by keeping your pets on your own property or leashed when not.
Recreational Vehicles
It’s the time of year when people are getting out and enjoying the outdoors or traveling, and RVs, campers, boats, etc. are starting to appear. We want to remind you that we understand there’s a need to bring these home for loading and unloading, however, please respect the rules by making sure you remove them from view with the 24-hour time limit. We greatly appreciate your help in maintaining our community!
