June 2024 Community Newsletter

June 20, 2024

Welcome

We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Arbor. Our community is under development and each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you about rules, and share information. Please reach out to Management at hoa@brightoncorp.com should you have any questions. We are looking forward to working with you all in building this beautiful community.

4th of July

Neighbors are coordinating a potluck party on the 4th of July at 5:30 pm at the clubhouse. There will be food and games.

Our offices will be closed on the 4th and 5th in celebration of the holiday. If you need your pool key activated or to make a reservation, please reach out prior.

2nd Pool Update

We’re getting really close to opening the 2nd pool. We still have some inspections and final things to work on in order to get it ready for opening. But, we’re getting much closer. We’ll announce as soon as it’s ready. Your current pool cards will work on the new pool the same as they do on the first pool.

Landscaping Maintenance

We greatly appreciate those of you that take great care of your lawns. Unfortunately, there are quite a few yards that need some work. We understand that life happens and hope to see some improvements. Many homes have landscaping beds that run from one house to another, almost shared. We need everyone to do their part in keeping them maintained to keep up the beautiful appearances of our community. It’s our first impression. The Association is working on this as well in areas where we’ve struggled with water or clocks or other issues. We’ll be re-seeding and fertilizing areas to help them be better. We hope residents will do the same with their struggling areas.

Fireworks

If your celebration is going to include fireworks, please be sure to know what is legal or not and the best ways to handle them. Aerial fireworks are illegal to shoot off in Idaho, although you can purchase them legally in the state. Aerial fireworks have a risk of starting wildfires and causing injuries. We don’t want any accidents in the community, so please use extreme caution and follow these TIPS. Please also, clean up after yourselves. Even safe and sane fireworks can leave messes in yards and the street. Be sure to appropriately soak and dispose of any messes. Common areas may not be used to light off fireworks. Also, please be aware that neighbors and animals may not all like fireworks, so keep to reasonable timing. We greatly appreciate everyone’s consideration, and hope you have a very safe and enjoyable holiday!

Pool Reminders

The pool is for all our community members, so please be courteous by following the rules, as this helps to keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone. Please don’t let anyone in without an active and working key card. Be sure that any children who are not potty-trained are wearing swim diapers with rubber plastic pants that are elasticized around the waist and legs to avoid leaks. We want to avoid any unnecessary shutdowns when we can, so we can all use the pool as much as possible.

County Weed & Mosquito Abatement

There has been some hemlock sighted in the weeds along the canal. The county is spraying this and will begin removal next week. Also, if you have concerns about mosquitoes, you can reach out to the County at 208.461.8633 for treatment.
