November 2024 Community Newsletter

November 22, 2024

Welcome

We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Arbor. Our community is under development and each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you about rules, and share information. Please reach out to Kristen Lyons should you have any questions.

Pedestrian Walking Path

A reminder that the walking path that runs from Spruce Street to Midland Blvd. is for pedestrians only.  No motorized vehicles are permitted.  Signs will be installed in the coming weeks as a reminder.

Signage

Yard signs advertising Christmas light installation, sprinkler blow outs, etc. are not permitted.  If you displayed a political sign in your yard or window, it’s time to remove it.  Political signs are permitted 30 days prior to an election and for 10 days after the election.

Speeding

Please slow down! We should all drive slowly in neighborhoods, but our community has many turns and straightaways, as well as paths and bike lanes for pedestrians. This creates a scary combination, so please remind drivers in your home to slow down, and avoid distractions while driving, such as cell phones.

Snow Removal

Snow is just around the corner. Make sure you do not push snow from your sidewalks and driveways into the streets. Snow should go on your lawns, and if you are near a street drain, please be sure to keep it clear.

Holiday Decorations

It’s that time of year when so many people decorate for the holidays. We love to see all the festivity! However, we ask that you remember temporary holiday decorations may be installed 30 days prior to the holiday and should be removed within 30 days after the holiday, vendor scheduling and weather permitting.

Parking Reminders

The garage in your home is to be used for parking automobiles first before storage or anything else. Please make sure you are using the garage for parking before using the driveway. Street parking is only allowed if the garage and driveway are full of automobiles.

Holiday Office Hours

We wish you the most wonderful holidays with your friends and families! The Brighton offices will be closed on the following dates:

Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th.

Christmas – Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th.
